Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us
When you register for a Jetmap account and use our Service, we collect information that you voluntarily provide to us:
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, chosen username, password (stored encrypted), and optional profile information such as your display name, profile picture, and bio.
Flight Log Data: The core of our Service involves you entering detailed information about your flights, including departure and arrival airports, airlines, flight numbers, aircraft registration numbers, seat preferences, cabin class, dates and times, frequent flyer numbers, and any personal notes or comments you add about your flights.
Frequent Flyer Information: If you choose to track your frequent flyer status, you may provide us with your membership numbers, tier status, and accumulated points or credits across various airline loyalty programs.
Payment Information: If you subscribe to Jetmap Premium, we collect billing information necessary to process your payment. We use Stripe as our payment processor, and your full credit card details are stored securely by Stripe, not on our servers. We only retain the last four digits of your card and expiration date for display purposes.
Communications: When you contact us via email or our support system, we collect the contents of your message, your email address, and any attachments you send.
User-Generated Content: Any content you choose to share publicly, including public profile information, flight histories you make visible, comments, or contributions to community features.
